What is benzalkonium chloride?
Benzalkonium chloride is the active ingredient in safeHands non-alcoholic hand sanitizer. It has been used in countless applications for decades, including in Bactine® to treat skin irritations and in Lysol® as a surface disinfectant. It has also been used as a germ-killing ingredient in mouthwash.
Our benzalkonium chloride sanitizer solution offers non-flammable germ protection and, unlike alcohol, won’t dry out your skin.
Effective hand washing replacement
safeHands follows standard drug testing protocols, including microbiological laboratory and stability testing, and conducts repeat insult dermal testing. safeHands is an effective and convenient sanitizing solution when soap and water aren’t available.
